This course is an overview of life insurance including its history, major types of life policies, provisions and riders. Also included is information dealing with underwriting, taxes, annuities, retirement plans, and business insurance. The disability portion of the course deals with health insurance providers, medical expense insurance, health insurance policy provisions, underwriting, disability income, workers compensation, social insurance, Social Security supplements, and long term care insurance. Upon finishing this course, the applicant will have a good understanding of life and disability insurance. This will enable the student to become a knowledgeable agent and to pass the necessary licensing examination.Cost: US$ 89.00 All insurance producers should have an understanding of the California Insurance Code (CIC). This course deals with general provisions, business practices, production agencies and insurers. Ethics is concerned with consumer considerations, discriminatory practices, and profesional image. After studying this course, the applicant will have the knowledge to not only pass the state licensing exam but have an awareness of the provisions of the code and the ethical standards expected of an insurance producer. |
